Exactly what I expected. Excellent product.
The build was very cool. Overall it’s a really interesting project. The look is reasonably close, but for the cost and materials I would have preferred more accuracy as you can’t really see the internals moving. Pricing isn’t bad, but it’s about half the cost of a Toyan metal motor. With a bit more realism and design elements I think it would be a superb product. As is, it’s pretty good and my son enjoyed building it, but not amazing.
Parts were missing, had to use spare lego parts. Electrical motor had too much power, kept snapping timing chain.

Great engine
Cool assembly experience
Very cool engine but this one had a few small things I did not like. Mating the crankshaft up was a major pain and the intake manifold connection isn't particularly sturdy. Still love the engine, I'd rate it 4.5 if I could.
Very good quality and excellent branding. The pieces arrive with the Minibricks logos, and the packaging is incredible. I will buy again.

My son really liked it but product was not as described and not made of metal

Build & instructions
The 2JZ Engine takes between 2-3h to complete depending on your pace and experience, suited for builders who enjoy detailed, deliberate assembly. Each set ships with a printed step-by-step manual, designed for clarity and made to be kept alongside the model. Building pieces come sorted in numbered bags so you can work through the build in stages. Recommended setup: clean, well-lit surface and a few uninterrupted hours.
Compatibility & quality
Every Minibricks® set is built from high-grade ABS plastic, the same material standard used by leading building brick brands. Pieces are fully compatible with the major brick systems you already collect — integrate the model into your existing setup or customize details with parts you have on hand. Tolerances are tight by design: each brick clicks with precision and holds shape over years of display.
Care & support
Once built, the model is designed for permanent display. Place it inside the included Display Container to keep dust off, or showcase directly on the shelf. To clean, use a soft brush or compressed air — avoid liquids or chemical solvents that can damage the plastic finish. Lost a piece during the build or after?
